Subject: Cooker!
I was at the previous night's show in Guelph ON for Valentine's Day (I dodged a dinner date by suggesting to my girlfriend that we check out the show instead to dance...awwww) and the setlist is similar from what I remember. Especially sweet is the opener, 'And I Wonder', where the drummer came out by himself to play the opening beats to be joined individually by each member of the band. Q is in top form MC'ing all over the place during Dub 2 (a welcome experience hearing him since the last 3 times I've seen The Slackers, they've been Q-Maxxless in Canada. I don't think he's allowed to cross the border anymore...) Vic's voice sounds great, as usual. To sum it up, the band is cooking, and we're all the better for it.

As for the sound quality, its from a soundboard feed, so its top notch. Good mix, with the horns being well balanced and not overpowering anything (A huge problem the last time I saw them - Pine's trombone was BLASTING). Barely any audience can be heard, which could be kind of a bummer depending on your point of view. Unexpected and VERY WELCOME find on LMA. Thanks! 5 Stars for sure!

"Watch This" is cut. This is because the sound man screwed something up. He was able to restore the feed in time for the next song.
